I was a little nervous about joining the Fit Camp but I also wasn't getting results from any of my other routines.  I thought this might be a step in the right direction to hiring a personal trainer. 

The JoshOne Fitcamp has been awesome.  The results are amazing - within the first 6 weeks, I've lost about 2 inches at each location I'm measuring.  I'm thrilled with the results and I completely enjoy the workout atmosphere and group. 

I couldn't have picked a better way to improve my workout routines.  One other advantage is that Sincere's techniques can be used anywhere and at anytime.  I've been able to workout while on the road for work or vacation without equipment.  That's a real bonus!

What's my story?  I'll be 56 in a couple of days and I proved to myself that I can still do it!! JoshOne Fitcamp is the best place for me to be motivated to push myself.

I've done more in the last 5 weeks than I have done in the last 5 years. When I think I have done as much as I can there's someone helping me do just one more, just one more and before you know it you've done them all.
 
I have lost inches but my overall physically well being has improved. I will be back for another grueling but worth every minute of training!!!

Your program has been incredible.  All of these years I thought I was working out at the gym. However, I felt nowhere close to what I feel when I get done with one of your sessions.
   
I feel myself forcing my body to keep up with the program.  I feel like I'm getting stronger, I know my legs are.  I know if I can just get some more weight off, I'll start to exceed at the workouts.  I've always been the type of person to push myself. 

Once I get my weight under control, you'll see this.  I keep thinking not too many years ago, I'd run the entire Allen Parkway from the Y Downtown to shepard and back effortlessly.  That mental picture keeps me trying.

I have lost 15 pounds since joining boot camp back in September! Mind you, I have been eating better also but I just wanted to say thank you so much! I could not have done this without you! I am in the best shape I have ever been in.

Before Fitcamp I would attend cycle classes most of the time to get an awesome workout...problem with cycle was that it built up my thighs too much and actually made my legs bigger. Fitcamp has helped me lose weight as well as increase my overall muscle tone.
 
I enjoy Fitcamp more than my previous experience of a) classes at a gym, b) personal trainer and c) working out on my own.
 
I like the fact that we are a group. Sometimes I would much rather sit on my couch than go work out, but I know that you and others are going to be there so I force myself out of the house.

I especially like the cardio bursts like running, crawling, etc up hills or jump rope or sprinting....all mixed with toning exercises. For the record, when I had a trainer I also saw great results but it a) wasn't as fun and was b) too expensive!
 
Probably the only thing I would change in Fitcamp is running in place when we have partners and/or stations. Instead of half of the class running in place, I would suggest we have to run up the hill or something like that while the others are doing the workout. Oh, or jump rope while we wait....jumping rope kills me!

Sincere, it's been a mere 8 weeks, and I have already had so much improvement. Because I have a small frame, it was easy to talk myself out of exercising. But the truth of the matter is even though I am petite, I was getting flabby and had absolutely no energy.

I now feel so much better and less stressed. Physically, I feel tighter, stronger and my endurance is noticably better. As you know, my fat weight has decreased significantly, and with your help I have built noticeable muscle mass.

The fit camp has been great! When I first started I could hardly do a squat, and now I am doing squats and much much more, stuff I never thought I could do. Even in the beginning, Sincere was so great to not judge me and he is always positive.

I have so much more energy, I find myself using the fit camp as my own energy drink of sorts. It gives me a great kick and I look forward to every class. I was looking for a program that I could easily combine with my marathon training program. Your program appeared to be just what I was looking for.I am sure you have noticed that I have been coming early and doing my walking training as a warmup to your class. It is great because I don't have to go to a gym or use any special equipment (expensive). I did purchase a jump rope ($2.29) and am looking forward to working out with it. My results after 2 weeks include:


1. I took 10 minutes off my time for a 3 mile daily workout. I am still amazed at this.
2. I have lost 8 pounds. I have never been more positive about losing weight. This is definitely another factor in my new walking pace.

I've gotten a lot more concentrated and focus on things, beyond health and fitness. Also, its made me calm down a lot more. Both of which have come in very good use to issues in my personal and professional wise, both as
DJ Remix, Gerardo, and as a son taking care of two ederly, disabled parents with a medley of health issues.

Over the course of my life, I've had more than my fair share of bad habits and vices, some of which I have given completely, some almost completely, and some I've thought about maybe considering to give up potentially perhaps. (Oh yeah, I said it.) But now, due to the motivation (read: trash talking and humiliation) of close friends, joining the gym on my own, and subsequently joining the FitCamp, I've been seeing my goals get closer and closer, given up the more damaging aspects of my lifestyle, and have commited myself to making myself better.

But, I have to admit, its been a bit frustrating because it seems I had hit some kind of plateau which made me lose motivation, but you have to dig down and work through that.

Do I have to get in shape to join fitcamp?

Not at all! Every workout is designed to push "all" fitness levels.



I am really overweight, can I sign up?


Our goal is always to help you get and stay healthy. Therefore,
depending on your current situation, and how many pounds overweight
you are, we will always ask that you get clearance from your doctor
before beginning our program. However, individual situations vary,
so call me to discuss.




Will I be left alone during the workouts ?


You will never be left alone during a workout. You are guaranteed
the support of both the instructor and your fellow fitcamp members.
We are a family here at New Warrior FitCamp.



What are the workout session like?

You definitely will not get bored during your on-going weekly fitcamp
sessions. Our uniquely styled fitness programs change daily, as
each one will constantly challenge your entire body for maximum
results. Our warm-ups usually consist of calisthenics, which will
get your body revved up and ready for the upcoming session. Each
session ends with a cool down period to support you body after our
workout session, and reduce soreness.

We use a variety of tools to burn the most amount of calories,
while toning your fat burning muscles. Our tools include your
bodyweight, kettlebells, medicine balls, resistance bands, jump
ropes
, and a lot more. Every workout is different , in order to
keep your body guessing, which makes it have to utilize more
calories. Plus, you will never get bored with the same old routine.


What if I can't perform a certain exercise?

Not to worry. We will modify an exercise to compliment your fitness
level. These lower-impact modifications will equally strengthen and
challenge your body.

What about nutrition?

During each 3 week on/1 week off phase, we also hold scheduled Saturday
morning workshops were we focus on proper exercise technique, how to make fitcamp
work for you, and address any nutrition questions.

We also have other "personalized" nutrition options available to support your
fitcamp experience. Feel free to ask about them, and find the right one for
you.



Dude, will you scream and yell at us?

New Warrior FitCamp does not believe in belittling an individual as a
means of motivation. Our mission for our members is to be
encouraging, motivating, supportive, and help our fitcampers focus
on achieving their goals in a very positive atmosphere.

Any form of harassment or abuse is "no bueno" here, even if you ask
for it. Let's save the verbal abuse for the drill sergeants in the
military. However, if you are looking for positive reinforcement,
then you have come to the right place . Our camaraderie is unmatched.




What should I bring in order to get started?

I suggest your bring a hand towel, water, weightlifting gloves, a
mat, comfortable running shoes, loose, comfortable clothing, and
sunblock during spring and summer sessions.


Where is New Warrior FitCamp located?

New Warrior FitCamp is held at our Old School Strength & Conditioning's warehouse gym, conveniently located in the heart of the Galleria/SW Houston area, minutes from Downtown Houston, Memorial Park, I-10, 610, 59, 45, and 288. Directions and what to bring will be provided to you after you sign
up.

How can I join and receive a discount?

Sign up for our "Early Registration & Updates" form, located in the middle of this web page.
Once sign up begins for the next fitcamp session, we will contact you, with sign up details.

Should you be chosen to become an active member, refer a friend, and receive a referral bonus, when your referral signs up. Simply forward this information to someone you know who would be interested in joining us at fitcamp.



What times are available and how do I sign up?


Our 6:30 P.M. Ultimate New Warrior Training camp is modified according to your fitness level, but commands extreme mastery of sports-specific movement, strength, balance, and endurance (just to name a few). Attendance to our New Member Orientation preparatory session(s) will be required, to prepare your body and mind for participation in the Ultimate New Warrior program. Immediate membership into The Ultimate New Warrior Training Camp is for those who are very active, as well.

Do You Offer Kettlebell Classes?

Yes, we do! You can sign up for our Houston area kettlebell classes seperately, or add our kettlebell class membership to your fitcamp membership for a small upgrade. Membership to our Kettlebell classes are by invite only, and current New Warrior/Ultimate FitCamp members receive first priority to these extremely limited spots. As a "multi-certified" kettlebell strength coach & kettlebell sport athlete, with countless experience in training, teaching, lecturing, and certifying with Kettlebells for fat loss, kettlebell sport, sports-specific conditioning for MMA, football, running events, & more, I will show you how Kettlebell training can rapidly accelerate your fat loss & fitness goals, when combined with your fitcamp membership.
